“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” (Psalm 91:11 KJV)
A store was going out of business. We ventured in to take a look at what we might need. As I walked around, I noticed a lady who looked very stressed.
“Hello. I noticed what a nice job you are doing placing everything in order.”
“Thank you. I’m really very nervous today.”
“God can give you peace.”
She stopped working and looked straight at me. “I needed to hear that.”
“Do you know Him?”
“No.”
“Jesus loves you, and He can help you.”
“I am very nervous, because my house almost got broken into last night.” Tears filled her eyes.
“I am so sorry. I know that is very hard to go through.”
“Yes, it is.”
“May I pray with you? Would you like to believe in Jesus? He is the one who died on the cross for you. He loves you, and He can help you through this.”
“Oh, yes, please. I need this.”
She had a cart loaded with items. She put her hands on it to pray.
She thanked God for His love for her, believed in Jesus as her Saviour, confessed her sins at His cross, and gave her life to Him.
“Thank you so much. I can’t tell you how much I needed this today.”
“He will see you through now. He will always be with you. He kept you safe, and He will never leave you.”
“Yes, thank you.”
“Abba Father, how awful that must have been to have her house almost broken into. Thank You for keeping her safe. I thank You, Lord Jesus, that through this her heart was open to believe in You. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for helping us to talk and pray while people passed by. Lord, give her her your peace, strength and comfort. All glory to Your name, Jesus!”
