After we spoke with one man at the car dealership and had the opportunity to talk to him about Jesus, he introduced us to another manager. This man sat in front of us, as we discussed our business. We later talked again with the man with whom I had prayed to believe in Jesus. He was filled with joy, as he talked with us.

We then had to go to the manager’s office with whom we had discussed our business. As he talked with us, he looked at his computer and said, “We keep things simple.”

I said, “That is the way that people should keep God—simple.”

He said, “If you don’t believe, how do you have a moral compass? If you don’t believe, then you don’t believe in Satan, and if you don’t believe in this, then how do you know good and evil? So then, you don’t have a moral compass and you do evil.”

I was not sure how to respond to him without getting more into what he was saying. We then continued to discuss our business. He left his office. While we waited for him to return, the man who had believed in Jesus walked in. He had the most joyful smile and was rejoicing in his salvation.

As this man left, the manager walked back into the office. He gave us more information to evaluate. I was not sure how to bring up the conversation about God again. The other man walked out. We waited for the manager to return. I thought, “How am I going to tell the manager about Jesus?”

The manager returned and sat in his chair behind his desk. I continued to wait on the Lord to help me tell him about Jesus. We listened to him, as he typed. This man had the sharpest-looking eyes. So I said, “Your eyes are very quick.”

While typing, he smiled and responded, “I am an open book.”

He then said, “I go to church every Wednesday, because it is my day off. My family and I go every Sunday.” He mentioned the name of the church he attended. He was a devoted Catholic.

The other man walked back into the office. I was just about to talk to the manager about Jesus. I thought, “Lord, you must want the man who is now saved to listen to this story.”

I told the manager, “Let me tell you, you are a man who loves and is devoted to God, his family, and his church, not too many like this.” He stopped what he was doing. He sat in front of me behind his desk. He stopped typing and turned his whole body to face us. He did not blink an eye. He was motionless.

I said, “I want to tell you a story, but you must listen with your heart—not your mind—or you will miss what God has to say.” He was captivated and still motionless.

The other man was standing still. I began to share my testimony of how once I was a Catholic, that I was going to enter the convent. Before I entered, I had a talk with God, and Jesus revealed Himself to me and told me that no one could go to the Father, but through Him, because He was the one who had died on the cross for my sins. The man was still motionless.

The other man walked out. I continued, “As a Catholic, one would Mary, St. Peter, St. Jude, St. Andrew, or those in purgatory to pray to get one to heaven.” But, not so. It is only through Jesus, the Son of God, who gave His blood on the cross to cleanse us from sin so that we could go heaven and be with the Father. There is no other way. The man was still motionless, his eyes focused on mine. I was so stunned by his motionless and captivated reaction that I lost my thoughts and words. I had never encountered someone who reacted like this.

I was not too sure what to say next, so I took the risk and started saying, “I am now going to help you talk with God so that you know His Son as your personal Saviour, so you will go to heaven.” He did not blink an eye. I started talking and praying. I helped him, “You can pray with me.” He was still so motionless and captivated that it took him a few seconds to start praying. He was sitting very still and his eyes, focused and unblinking, stared into mine. As I continued to pray, he began to pray with me. He believed and received Jesus as his personal Saviour. He was still, and his eyes remained focused on mine.

He was quiet for a few seconds and then soberly and seriously said, “Thank you.” He was still not able to move. I waited a few seconds. He was still speechless. After a couple of minutes, he again said, “Thank you.” We then talked about reading the Bible. We talked about where and how to get started. His eyes were still very focused on mine and still captivated. Then all of a sudden, a huge look of relief and a smile came to his face. He was rejoicing! We began to rejoice with him!

The other man walked back in. He began rejoicing too. Now all four of us were rejoicing! This manager walked out. The other man took his seat and faced us. I said, “I am going to take a photo of you.”

He said, “Another soul saved!”

Surprised, I asked, “How did you know?” He was smiling widely! He must have found my website. The manager walked back in. I took a photo of him as well. He was also smiling widely.

The two of them, my husband, and I were again rejoicing!

“Abba, Father, I had never had the experience of seeing someone so motionless, speechless, and visually focused on what You had to tell Him. Lord Jesus, You had him captivated by the message of salvation when I was at a loss for words. But Your Holy Spirit helped me and kept him still to listen while doing the work of salvation through You. What a salvation, Messiah!”
