We were at a conference in Jerusalem, Israel. I saw a young Israeli woman who is a doctor with whom I had prayed last year to believe in Yeshua as her Saviour. I was so surprised when she stood up and held me in a long embrace, when she saw me! She said that she was so happy to see me. We could not let go of each other. I knew that this was because of her salvation.

Afterward, she introduced me to her husband. He stood and shook my hand for a few minutes, letting me know how great it was to meet me. Actually, I was so encouraged because I did not know how things were with him due to his wife’s believing in Yeshua. I was so delighted to see that he too was hungry for the truth.

This young woman had brought her husband to the conference, because she wanted him to witness for himself people who love the Jewish people and Israel. Her husband was amazed to meet people like us who would stand for the truth in boldness. He said that only hearing people talk about Israel made him wonder if they were real or not, but to hear us speak so clearly about what is good and what is wrong without hiding behind fancy words was impactful.

After the speaking was over, I had to wait for some time to introduce my young Israeli woman friend to a dear friend of mine whom many wanted to talk with. My friend asked her if she was growing in her faith. The woman responded that after meeting people like us, she was. What an honor to represent Christ in all that He is, causing a young Jewish woman, who had just been saved, to be encouraged to grow in her faith in Yeshua.

Before I left the area where my friend was speaking to others, she asked me to wait because she needed to talk to me. She whispered in my ear that a specific cook and a specific manager had heard the message given and that they were moved to tears. I said, “I’ll go after them.” That meant that God was after them for salvation, and I had to make sure that this would be accomplished.

That night I called for each of the men, but they had left for the day. I thought for sure I had missed them and wondered now what I would do. But the next morning, I called for them again. I was told they would not be in until late in the afternoon. We were leaving the next day to catch our flight, and I had had no chance to see these two men. But I had to keep trying. The next morning, as we were having breakfast, I saw a man and a woman in suits. I asked the woman if the cook was in. She texted him. The woman escorted him to where I was. He introduced himself. I asked him if he was the cook who had been at the conference and if had cried. He said that he had cried only two times in his life. He told the short stories. My heart was moved. He said that he had not been at the conference. He had to get back to work. I thanked him, as we parted. I was not sure where to go from there.

Again, I asked about the manager. I was told that I could talk with the manager’s secretary. My husband advised that I leave his book for the manager because we had to catch our flight. He wrote in it for him and gave it to me. Later I asked a friend, who was a pastor’s wife, to go with me downstairs to the manager’s office to deliver the book.

As I walked into the office, there was a man in a suit seated at a desk in the middle of the office. I told him that I wanted to leave a book for the manager. All of a sudden, without thinking, I asked him, “Are you the one who takes care of the cooks?”

He answered, “I take care of all the services.”

I asked, “Were you the one who listened to the lady in the white jacket?”

He said, “Yes, I was.”

I asked him, “Were you crying?”

He said, “Yes, I was.”

“What happened?” I asked.

He said, “I don’t know, but something happened.” I drew closer to him to whisper because there were two other people in the office, and I did not want the man to feel uncomfortable. He then explained, “My father was a Muslim. He began to take care of others and their needs. He helped the people in need. He was the first one to get out of the box and talk about Jesus.”

I asked him, “Do you know Jesus?”

He said, “No.”

I whispered, “I am going to pray with you to believe in Him.”

He spoke in a soft voice, so that others would not hear. He instructed me, “Not here; come with me.” He escorted me to a conference room. As we walked toward it, I turned around, put hands together as if to pray, and motioned with my lips to my friend for her to pray. Then, I thought, “Oh Lord, please help, we have to catch a flight (I later learned that our flight had been delayed half an hour. This had given me the time for this Arab’s salvation.)

The conference room was large and nicely decorated. The doors behind us closed. For a moment, I was a little unsure, but I focused on this man. He was standing ready to pray to believe in Yeshua. I have never seen someone getting so seriously prepared for what he was about to do. I asked him, “Are you ready?”

He said, “I would rather that you pray for my family than for me.”

I responded, “First we are going to pray for you; then I will pray for your family. Are you ready?”

He positioned himself again. He closed his eyes and took a breath and said, “Yes, I am ready.”

With his eyes closed and nervous he began to pray with me. He confessed Yeshua as the Son of God, that he believed in his heart and confessed with his mouth that He had died and risen again. He repented of his sins and asked Yeshua to take his life and use it for his glory.

Afterward, there was silence. I waited as his eyelids began to blink, and his smile grew bigger and bigger and took a breath of relief. The Spirit of God had entered him, and he looked free and joyful! We both stood in silence for a few minutes. Then he said with a big smile, “Thank you. Thank you.”

I said, “Thank the Lord. Now, let’s pray for your family.”

We walked out of the conference room. The first thing I saw was my friend sitting on a bench praying. What a heart of obedience. This was the support needed, as God was saving this soul! I will forever remember the sight of this Israeli Arab-Muslim man giving his life to Jesus and breathing in the Spirit of God, as God filled him with Himself. The expression on his face is unforgettable! The Spirit of God entering a body, as Jesus came into him to live in him by His Spirit, was glorious to witness!

My friend said that there was beam of light that one both of us. It was surely coming from a window, but it was directly on our faces. She took a photo. Not only was the beam on our faces, but the Arab’s man’s face was beaming in his salvation. Glory to Yeshua!

This man’s Muslim father, who had been the first out of the box to talk about Jesus, I am sure had labored over the soul of his son for salvation. I am sure that he and all the angels in heaven were rejoicing!

Had it not been for introducing the young Israeli woman to my dear friend, and she whispering in my ear about a specific cook and my husband who advised that I leave his book for the manager, I would not have gone to talk to the secretary, and this man may not have been approached for salvation in the Son of God, Yeshua. Glory for my friend’s heart’s desire for this man’s salvation. This is her jewel of salvation placed on the King’s crown!

“Abba Father, how specifically and precisely you pursue your people, because of your love.

Isn’t it something that You would have taken us to Israel for the salvation of this soul! Messiah, Jesus, Son of God, how ripe your harvest is in Israel. I could have walked the streets all day for You to save souls one at a time. Spirit of God, thank You for helping me pursue this soul for salvation. It is all You, Jesus. How powerful You are, Messiah, through Your Spirt in revealing Yourself as You do to hearts and filling them with Your life. How powerful Your love is!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
