“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6 KJV)

We were running our weekly errands. Our first stop was Harris Teeter grocery store. A very clean cut, young teenager was the cashier. I asked if he knew God. He said that he didn’t. We talked a little more about Jesus, and then he prayed with me to believe in Him as his Saviour.

We then had to stop at Trader Joe’s. The cashier was Hispanic. We talked about his name. He was delighted to know it was of interest. I then talked with him about Jesus. His heart was very ready to believe in Him. We prayed, and he gave his life to Jesus.

We had to stop at another store to get a gift for a friend. The area manager happened to be working at the store. She was a foreign woman. I explained to her what I needed. She was very helpful. I talked to her about Jesus. She was amazed that she could know Him as her Saviour. I asked her if she would like to believe in Him. We began to pray, and she believed in Jesus as her personal Saviour.

We had to stop at Harris Teeter again. A teenage girl was the cashier. She was sweet and pretty. I talked to her about Jesus and asked her if she would like to pray. She was very open to listen and receive the truth about Jesus. She prayed with me and asked Him to be her Saviour.

We returned to Trader Joe’s. A foreign man was the cashier. We talked about where he was from and his name. I then told him about Jesus. He listened very seriously. He was so ready to believe in Him. He prayed and believed in Jesus as his Saviour and gave his life to Him.

“Abba, Father, you never know what soul You may have ready to believe in Your Son. Jesus, every day there are souls in front of us who will believe in You. We just need to tell them about You with the help of the Holy Spirit and watch the souls come out of darkness into the light—JESUS!”
